Zhang Wei was a member of the Chinatown Crew. He worked under Chen, who in turn worked with the Watchdogs. While transporting a mysterious box, Wei looked inside, only to be briefly exposed to Lucy Bauer's power, causing him and his partner to kill each other.

Wei lived in Monterey Park, where he had a card that identified him as an organ donor. While working with the Chinatown Crew, Wei was tasked with moving the Quantum Batteries for Chen, only for him to become curious and look inside. However, this resulted in Wei and another crew member to briefly be exposed to Lucy Bauer's power, causing them both to lose control of their minds and kill each other, with the other crew members becoming so horrified that they locked them inside their truck. The corpses of Wei and the other crew member would be found by Phil Coulson and Alphonso Mackenzie, who were able to use the logo on their uniforms to track down Chen.[1]
