Zane was one of the leaders of the Black Knife Cartel under the employment of Kingpin. He sought out Maya Lopez because of several tips from Vickie Tyson. This hunt for Lopez ended in Zane's death at the hands of her uncle.

Fisk Shipping Yard Explosion[]
Zane walks out of the Fisk Shipping Yard
- "Zane, new shipment's in."
"Oi, oi. How we lookin'? We good?"

Zane was the leader of the Black Knife Cartel and was able to strike an allyship with Kingpin. Even when Kingpin was believed to be assassinated, Zane continued to work under the Fisk Shipping mantle in New York City. In 2025, Zane was contacted by Vickie Tyson, saying he found the "King Killer" in Tamaha.[1] In the following days, Zane made his usual rounds throughout the Fisk Shipping Yard. He then ordered a few men to check box DX-9 before taking Carter with him to leave. Just as they walked outside, Zane and Carter were launched forward by an explosion. They turned around to see their shipping yard up in flames from an explosion.[2]

Zane withholds payment from Vickie Tyson

"Oh. No. We got protocols, right? I keeps the money safe while I assesses the situation. You don't think I'd walk in with the money, do you?" - ―Vickie Tyson and Zane[src]
Since the exploding shipment came from Tamaha, Zane and his men decided to keep contact with Vickie Tyson about Maya Lopez. He called Tyson and told him to not allow Lopez to leave town as they were on their way. Zane and the Black Knife Cartel eventually arrived at Black Crow's SkateLife where Vickie and his allies, Brigitte and Grace Tyson, had Maya, Henry Lopez and Bonnie tied up. Vickie immediately asked for the money, which Zane refused to give yet.
Zane faces his enemies
Zane talked about how it would be idiotic of him to bring the money into the skatepark with him and Vickie would get the money once he handed Maya over. Vickie grew worried, still pushing for the money, which Zane noticed. Vickie starts obviously stalling, which prompts Zane to ask what was wrong. When the scared Vickie said nothing was wrong, Zane had Walker shoot him, killing Vickie. Suddenly, the music turned on and lights turned off, signaling that Maya had escaped from wherever she was being kept.

Zane and his men ran around the building trying to find her, with Zane staying behind his men. They soon found that Maya was easily taking care of the cartel, worrying Zane. However, Zane's men were able to hold their ground allowing Zane to hold Bonnie hostage. This got Maya and Henry to surrender and get onto their knees. Zane wanted to finish them off, so he walked over to the prisoners and pointed his weapon. Right before shooting, he got a call from none other than Kingpin, who was alive. He told Zane to call off his men. Zane got very annoyed before leaving with his men.[3]

- "Uh, sorry, guys, this here is vendor parking, actually. Right over there is general parking with Roger Two Moons..."
"Yeah. So, uh, I'm gonna park up down by there. So we can enjoy your Indigenous fair from afar." - ―Biscuits and Zane[src]
Zane made his next move at the Haskell County Fairgrounds during the Choctaw Nation Powwow. Arriving right on time, he came into the parking lot and asked Biscuits where he could park his stuff. Biscuits started over explaining, prompting Zane to take his first directions and leave. At the start of the powwow, Zane got out of his vehicle and climbed to the roof where he sat down and staked out the area. Once he was given the go ahead, he opened his cooler, revealing an RPG missile. He calmly loaded up the missile and looked through the scope to shoot the powwow. However, he was suprised to see Henry Lopez in the distance with his own weapon. Henry gave a wink before shooting Zane in the chest, killing him.[4]
