The Yuma Proving Ground is a military facility in Arizona.
History[]
Tony Stark showed the United States Armed Forces one of his new weapons, using accelerated wave explosions, at the Yuma Proving Ground. The weapon caused two generals from the army to be pushed to the ground, which James Rhodes scolded Stark for, but Stark was not concerned. One of the generals asked Stark for more information, but Stark was distracted by a woman on the base, much to Rhodes' disdain. Rhodes asked Stark's secretary, Pepper Potts, to give the military the weapon schematics, while the two of them left to discuss Stark's upcoming trip to Afghanistan.[1]
