Udonta talks to Nebula

Yondu Udonta was a Ravager clan leader who got stuck on Xandar when Irani Rael closed the Planetary Shield to prevent Ronan the Accuser from entering the planet. Throughout five years, Udonta had gathered a bad rep as a criminal, but also was allies with Nova Corpsman Nebula and one time remarked that they made a good team.

Yondu NCN Death

Udonta is killed

One day, Udonta found source codes to the Xandarian Mainframe Core that could open up the planetary shield and allow Ronan into Xandar. Udonta downloaded this coding into his Yaka Arrow. However, the Nova Corps found out that he saw the codes and tracked him down in an alley, killing Udonta with a shot in the back as it turned out they were the ones trying to open the shield.[1]

Although the Nova Corps, particularly Garthan Saal, showed no remorse, Nebula was affected by Yondu's death. She started to investigate and was able to obtain the Yaka Arrow and revealed the source code. She also spoke to Irani Rael, saying that although Udonta seemed bad, he never truly was.[1]
