Attack on the Ten Rings Ship[]
Nick Fury, on route to a military conference, wanted to check the status of one of his S.E.A.L. teams, on a mission to stop a Ten Rings freighter in the seaport city of Aden in Yemen.
While the team leader was updating Fury, Iron Man attacked the freighter and the Ten Rings operatives inside, saving the S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives when they got surrounded. The team leader tried to question Stark, but he flew away before being able to do so.
Stark recorded the entire conversation and listened to them in his home to know more about Fury's intentions with him.[1]
Attack on the Somali Pirates' Ship[]
Tony Stark returned to Yemen in the Gulf of Aden during his early quest of establishing world peace as Iron Man. Stark arrived at a ship attacked by Somali pirates, and while J.A.R.V.I.S. was cross-checking the information with the International Maritime Bureau, Stark attacked them in retaliation.[2]
Battle at the Emergence Point[]
The Eternals see the volcano
Rushing to find the Emergence Point, Makkari finally arrived in Socotra to find the volcano starting to erupt as Tiamut the Communicator was starting to emerge. Later, Ikaris and Sprite flew in to watch the emergence and the eventual end of Earth. However, the rest of the Eternals arrived to stop Tiamut. This caused an all out battle. As Sersi, Druig, Phastos, Thena, and Makkari tried to activate the Uni-Mind, Ikaris and Sprite tried to stop them.
During the battle, Kro arrived, in hopes of defeating the Eternals, but Thena was able to kill him. Sersi then ran to Tiamut's palm as he broke through the crust. She used the power of the Uni-Mind to start to turn Tiamut to stone. However, Ikaris landed in front of his love. Preparing to kill Sersi, Ikaris fired up his optical blast, but stopped. Ikaris could not bring himself to kill his love and stopped, deciding to join the Uni-Mind.
Tiamut soon turned completely to stone, causing a huge white rock of a Celestial to emerge. When it was all set and done, Ikaris looked at Sersi and went to his knees in sadness. Sersi approached him and the two shared a moment before Ikaris flew away into the Sun. Sersi then met with the rest of the Eternals as Sersi told Sprite that she could make her a full human, which she did.
Tiamut in the news
Weeks later, the world grew confused at the new rock in the ocean and started excavating around it.[3] Many months later, the question was still being asked as humans had no idea what had happened in Socotra.[4]
