Yü-Ti (玉帝) is an elder monk of the Order of the Crane Mother who trained Davos and Danny Rand.
Biography[]
Order of the Crane Mother[]

As a member of the Order of the Crane Mother, Yü-Ti became known as the August Personage in Jade. Yü-Ti taught his apprentices that the importance of being kind, stating that kindness is the eternal law.[1] However, he also claimed that Iron Fist, sworn defender of K'un-Lun, must fight against his enemies without mercy or hesitation in order to save his homeland.[2]
Duel of K'un-Lun[]
During the ceremonial challenge in order to choose the next Iron Fist, Yü-Ti watched the challenge alongside with Lei Kung and Priya. Yü-Ti claimed declared that Danny Rand and Davos were the only warriors who remain undefeated. However, only one of them could win and face Shou-Lao. The final showdown between them was launched by Lei Kung and Yü-Ti watched the fight that lasted for several hours before Lei Kung declared Rand as the winner.[3]

Trivia[]
- In the comics, Nu-An was leader of K'un-Lun, who inherited the title of Yu-Ti from his father Tuan, and the adoptive brother Wendell Rand. Yu-Ti was still leading K'un-Lun when Wendell Rand returned with his wife and son, searching for the mystical city. He took the orphaned Daniel Rand, under his care in the city and oversaw his training to become Iron Fist. He was succeeded by Lei Kung.
