Xolum was a member of the Freedom Fighters. Xolum discovered Scott Lang and Cassie Lang when they first became stranded in the Quantum Realm, and delivered them to Jentorra at his base. After subjecting the pair to the ooze, Xolum remained close by, suggesting that their captives be tortured. Xolum later fled alongside the rest of the Freedom Fighters when Kang the Conqueror's forces attacked.
Xolum was among the Freedom Fighters who attacked Axia at Cassie's call, joining the massive army of Quantum Realm residents that formed a revolution against Kang, although Kang killed Xolum with ease.

Losing His Home[]
Xolum lost his home to Kang the Conqueror, and became a refugee and member of the Freedom Fighters as a result.[1]
Rescuing Scott and Cassie Lang[]
Xolum discovers Scott and Cassie Lang
Xolum went out for scouting when he encountered a giant monster attacking two Humans. Xolum obliterated the monster with his powers and approached Scott Lang and Cassie Lang, taking them in. He then brought the two Humans to Jentorra, forcing them to drink the Ooze. Quaz then confirmed that the Langs had no idea what was going on. Despite this, Jentorra refused to believe they were truthful, leading to Xolum continuously suggesting they torture the humans. Quaz simply told Xolum to stop suggesting that.[1]
Fleeing Axia[]
As Jentorra was deciding what to do, the Quantumnauts suddenly attacked. Jentorra, angry that Ant-Man and Cassie Lang lead Kang the Conqueror to them, yelled for everyone to get to the ships. Xolum stayed back to fight, incinerating many Quantumnauts along the way. Suddenly, Xolum was overpowered as Quantumnauts holding his hands down. Luckily, Xolum was able to blast them with his head. Xolum, along with everyone else, still were captured.[1]

Joining the Revolution[]
Xolum was eventually broken free by Jentorra, who got help from Stature. Xolum helped Jentorra get her staff as she yelled for everyone to revolt. The group started gaining momentum as Xolum shot many Quantumnauts. This momentum was noticed by Kang the Conqueror, who walked out and suited up in his armor. He then blasted Xolum with his powers. The blast hit Xolum's head, cracking it through the pressure. Xolum then collapsed to the ground as his head was destroyed entirely.[1]

Xolum was a fierce and stern warrior. He was brash and aggressive, and repeatedly mentioned that Ant-Man and Cassie should be tortured, even after they drank Veb's ooze.

- Xolum is based on the character Psyklop. In the comics, Psyklop is a being that can fire energy from his eyeball. The possible reason for the change is most likely due to Hasbro owning the rights to the Micronauts.[3]
