The Wrecking Crew are a group of criminals possessing Asgardian construction tools and affiliated with the Intelligencia.
History[]
Origin[]
Dirk Garthwaite and his friends, Brian Calusky, Eliot Franklin, and Henry Camp, went to New Asgard and robbed an Asgardian construction worker, taking for themselves various equipment imbued with magical capabilities. With the powers the equipment granted them, they dubbed themselves the Wrecking Crew.[1]
Working for Intelligencia[]
Ambush on Jennifer Walters[]
In 2025, the Wrecking Crew was hired by Todd Phelps, the leader of Intelligencia, to steal Jennifer Walters' blood. They formulated a plan and one night, went to her apartment complex and waited for her to come home. When she arrived, Bulldozer grabbed her from behind. Walters initially panicked but quickly remembered she had powers and transformed into She-Hulk, throwing Bulldozer off her. Wrecker and Thunderball joined the attackers, each possessing a glowing weapon which She-Hulk mocked.
The Wrecking Crew charged at her and attacked her, but it made no impact due to her significant strength. Thunderball jabbed her with a syringe, but it broke when making contact with her skin. After beating her attackers with great ease, including tossing Piledriver in the air, the Wrecking Crew decided to retreat. In their truck, Wrecker asked Thunderball if he was able to get any blood, but he replied that he couldn't pierce Walters' skin while she was in Hulk form.[1]
