For the machine used by Doctor Strange to recreate a universe, see Forge |
- "This is your true home, Sersi. The World Forge."
- ―Arishem the Judge to Sersi[src]
The World Forge is the birthplace of Arishem the Judge's creations, including the Eternals and the Deviants, and also the house of the Wall of Memories.[1]
History[]
Creating the Eternals and Deviants[]
- "It is here that I built and programmed the Eternals."
"Everything dies except us, because we were never alive." - ―Arishem the Judge and Sersi[src]
During the creation of the universe, the leader of the Celestials, Arishem the Judge, created the Deviants within the World Forge in order to hunt down all apex predators within a planet. Once the Deviants went rogue, Arishem created the Eternals to prevent the Deviants from annihilating a planet's whole population.[2]
Revisit[]
- "Why don't I remember any of this?"
"Because your memories are erased and reset after each Emergence." - ―Sersi and Arishem the Judge[src]
Arishem showed Sersi a recreation of the World Forge, revealing the Eternals' true origin, that the Eternals were created alongside with the Deviants, and that their memories were stored within the World Forge when they were reset by Arishem.[2]
Trivia[]
