Master of the Mystic Arts[]

Warning Doctor Strange[]

"Well, I'm going to start the kettle. I suggest you join me before you do something reckless."
―Wong to Doctor Strange[src]

Being a Master of the Mystic Arts, Wong assisted Stephen Strange when he was practicing sorcery at Kamar-Taj. One day, Wong and the Ancient One saw Strange reading the Book of Cagliostro and experimenting with the Eye of Agamotto. Wong warned Strange that tampering with the time and space can weaken the very fabric of the universe, while the Masters sworn to protect it.

When Dormammu became a threat to their reality, Wong assisted Strange in his fight against the forces of the Dark Dimension, however, the Ancient One did not survive. Afterwards, Wong joined Strange at the New York Sanctum when he was reminiscing over the loss of Christine Palmer and tried to talk with him. Strange told Wong that it has been two years since he lost Palmer, before Wong noticed the Eye of Agamotto in his hand. Wong was concerned that Strange might try to use the power of the Time Stone for his personal gain, but went to make some tea, warning Strange not to do anything reckless.[1]

The Collapse of Reality[]

"Let's be honest, we've been through weirder."
"But do you want to stop him? Weren't you in love with Christine?"
"I... I think I have to. At the very least, to save you."
Doctor Strange and Wong[src]

However, Strange Supreme ended up using the Eye of Agamotto to tamper with the Absolute Point in Time to save Christine Palmer. The Ancient One tried to stop him, which resulted in creating an alternate timeline where Doctor Strange managed to let go of Palmer's death. When Wong approached Strange, asking him not to do anything reckless, he admitted that living in the past would not make it better for him.

Despite that, another version of Strange continued to gather more power and trying to change the Absolute Point, which resulted in the withering of their universe. Warned by the Ancient One's projection that the temporal paradox might destroy their reality, Strange and Wong tried to prevent it, although Wong had already started to wither because of the paradox. While casting the the protection spell, Wong asked Strange does he really want to stop his counterpart who wanted to save Palmer, but Strange replied that he must do it to save the universe, and Wong in particular.

Wong then finished casting the Guardian Vishanti protection spell on Strange, before asking how is he going to find his counterpart. Before Strange could reply, the portal appeared on the ground under Strange's feet, as both of them realized that his counterpart had found him first. Strange fell into the portal, as Wong wished him good luck in his mission to save their reality. However, Strange lost the battle and the other Strange successfully changed the Absolute Point, which resulted in the ultimate destruction of their universe, as Wong was among the casualties.[1]
