James Howlett, more commonly referred to as Logan, is a mutant with retractable adamantium claws who went on an adventure with the mercenary Deadpool and ended up moving in with him. However, Wolverine maintained an antagonistic attitude toward his friend despite Deadpool's attempts to grow closer to Wolverine.

Early Life[]
Meeting Deadpool[]
Logan gained retractable adamantium claws and met a mutant mercenary named Wade Wilson, who went by the name Deadpool. The two went on a mission in which they jumped into an Inter-Dimensional Portal together, with Wolverine yelling for them to go.[3]
Living with Deadpool[]
Deadpool's Spaghetti[]
Logan later moved in with Deadpool and watched as his friend enjoyed a bowl of spaghetti and realized that he was sharing it with his pet Dogpool. However, he continued to affectionately eat the spaghetti with Dogpool, much to Wolverine's disgust.[3]
Attacking Deadpool[]
Wolverine rented a biplane and traveled to Deadpool's location, where he began firing bullets at Deadpool from the plane. Deadpool ran desperately from the plane, but Wolverine followed and succeeded in tearing multiple holes in Deadpool's suit and body.[3]
Receiving a Package[]
Wolverine and Deadpool received a package, much to the latter's excitement. Upon opening the box, Wolverine was startled to see Headpool float out of it, although Deadpool was happy.[3]
Sitting in the Rain[]
Wolverine sat angrily on a bench alone one rainy day. However, Deadpool came up to him and began recreating the choreography to "Singin' in the Rain" with the lamppost over Wolverine. Angered even more by Deadpool's dance, Wolverine responded by getting up and cutting down the lamppost, which fell on Deadpool.[3]
Annoyed by Deadpool[]
Wolverine witnesses Ol' Betsy's destruction
Wolverine and Deadpool acquired a Honda Odyssey named Ol' Betsy and drove around for a while before getting out of the vehicle. Wolverine became angry and was being consoled by Deadpool when the car exploded behind them. Wolverine turned angrily to Deadpool, who responded innocently. Later, Deadpool pretended to be getting eaten by a poster of a shark.
However, Wolverine used his adamantium claws to cut the poster up, wounding him in the process and saddening him. The two soon stood outisde of a house, where Deadpool happily gave a thumbs up. Wolverine, annoyed with Deadpool, went inside and pushed the front wall of the house over, crushing his friend's entire body except for his arm, which remained in the air and continued to give a thumbs up.[3]

- Retractable Claws: Logan has a pair of three twelve-inch retractable adamantium-coated claws in each forearm, which extend between his knuckles.
