James Howlett, more commonly referred to as Logan, is a very rundown mutant with retractable adamantium claws and regenerative abilities operating under the alias Wolverine, who resorts to a gun as a weapon due to his old age.

While sitting on his porch, Logan was approached by Deadpool, who told Logan that he was "auditioning Anchor Beings." In response, Logan shot Deadpool, launching him backwards.[2]
