- "I didn't do it for her. I did it for me. That's why I still wear these. To remind myself that I'm not cruel for the sake of cruelty! That I'm not my father! That I'm not a monster! Am I?"
- ―Wilson Fisk to Vanessa Marianna[src]
Wilson Fisk's Cufflinks are a pair of cuffinks worn by Wilson Fisk, inherited from his late father. Fisk took these cufflinks as a dark heirloom.
History[]
Bill Fisk wore a pair of cufflinks until he was killed by his own son, Wilson, for attacking his wife, Marlene. Fisk would wear the cufflinks to remind himself of his father's true nature and the difference between him and his father.
Fisk continued to wear his father's cufflinks everyday, until his girlfriend Vanessa Marianna convinced him to alter his routine and try a different pair.[1]
Fisk later returned to wearing his father's cufflinks by 2024. During his duel with Kate Bishop, the young archer used her sleight of hand to take one of Fisk's cufflinks and used a trick shot, taught to her by Hawkeye, by flicking it at one of her trick arrows, causing a chain reaction that resulted in an explosion and injuring Fisk.[2]

Behind the Scenes[]
- Stephanie Maslansky spoke about the cufflinks: "There’s also a significance attached to one of his accessories. The cufflinks worn by Wilson Fisk belonged to his father. Their significance is eventually revealed. Based on Vincent D'Onofrio's age, his dad would be in his 80s. He would have bought them in the 1950s or '60s—a mid-century design. We searched for the perfect vintage cufflinks. We finally landed on a sterling silver pair with interesting negative space. We knew from reading ahead we'd need many duplicates. I redesigned them, adding more detail—a tiger’s eye stone and a portion of it cast in gold. They retained a mid-century look, enhanced to become unique in the world."[3]
