Wilbur Day is an employee of the R&D division of Stark Industries specializing in hydraulics.

Wilbur Day submitted a proposal for a new project to Tony Stark in the hopes of securing funding from him for its construction. Day later called Stark to check in on his proposal's status, being shocked that Stark remembered his name and position. Stark asked that Day show him a working prototype before he agreed to fully fund the project, to which Day agreed.[1]

  • In the comics, Wilbur Day was a scientist employed by Kaxton Industries who stole his employer's designs for a hydraulic lift device and used them to help construct a battlesuit with telescopic metal legs, becoming the criminal known as Stilt-Man. While wearing his suit, Day engaged in frequent conflict with Daredevil.
  • In the Daredevil Season One episode Daredevil, the lower half of the armor used by Day as Stilt-Man can be seen in the background of Melvin Potter's workshop.[2]
