The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.[1]
Plot[]
The Watcher continues observing the countless timelines from the Nexus of All Realities:
- Ronan the Accuser betrays and kills Thanos, which results in Nebula joining the Nova Corps.
- Ravagers deliver a young Peter Quill to Ego as planned, so he becomes an accessory in Ego's Expansion. Quill lands on Earth, so S.H.I.E.L.D. assembles the Avengers in the 1980s in response to the possible threat.
- Justin Hammer takes over the Avengers Tower during a Christmas party, so Happy Hogan, Darcy Lewis and Maria Hill have to stop him without the Avengers.
- Iron Man does not come back to Earth after destroying the Chitauri Command Center and instead lands on Sakaar, where he has to confront the Grandmaster's rule and survive Gamora's revenge.
- Captain Carter discovers that HYDRA Stomper is still alive, but he had been captured and exploited by the Red Room.
- As a result of Asgard's fall, the Tesseract lands in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and opens a gateway to the Sky World. Kahhori harnesses the power of the Tesseract and uses her new abilities to save her people from the Spanish Empire.
- Odin banishes Hela to Earth instead of Hel where she encounters the Ten Rings and embarks on a journey to learn mercy.
Suddenly, even for the Watcher, Carter gets summoned to a universe of 1602 England by Scarlet Witch who believes that Carter can save their world from rifts in reality. However, she fails to save Queen Hela, so King Thor blames Carter and orders to detain her. Carter recruits Rogers Hood and his merrymen to confront Thor's court and identify a temporal anomaly which causes incursions. However, Carter finds out that Rogers was an anomaly all along, so he willingly steps into a rift between into realities to save his world.
Stuck in 1602, Carter gets approached by Strange Supreme who had been capturing the so-called "universe killers" to protect the Multiverse from them. He asks Carter to help him capture a runaway, who turns out to be Kahhori. She reveals that Strange lied to Carter; he was capturing villains and heroes alike to sacrifice them and revive his home reality. Carter and Kahhori join forces to stop Strange. During their battle, Carter and Kahhori manage to save the prisoners, while Strange regains his senses and sacrifices himself, recreating the universe that was once his home. The Watcher approaches Carter and offers to return her home, but Carter instead asks him to take her on a journey across the Multiverse.
