Characteristic Traits[]
| This section needs a rewrite |
Werewolves are individuals that transform into lupine humanoids, with their physical attributes subsequently increased to a superhuman level, easily surpassing any average human.
However, werewolves are not able to control their transformation, always transforming involuntarily during a full moon night or being prematurely forced by supernatural energies like those contained within the Bloodstone, and while transformed, werewolves lose cognitive abilities, becoming far less able to differentiate friend from foe and act purely on instinct with a more limited degree of intelligence. As such, these creatures devolve into brutal savages that are fully prepared to defend themselves against perceived threats as well as hunt and slaughter perceived enemies. What remaining intelligence they possess is used to quickly strategize against their quarry, with Jack Russell in his bestial form making full use of his strength and agility to escape the cage Verussa Bloodstone had placed him, hiding amidst decorations on nearby walls before ambushing her guards from above.
Despite their personality being heavily suppressed by their transformation, werewolves also have the capacity to remember aspects of their lives as people through olfate, demonstrated when the transformed Russell recognized Elsa Bloodstone by scent and left her unharmed, fleeing to safety instead.
