In December 2024, Wendy Conrad was attending a LARPing campaign in Central Park, and was having a conversation with Grills when Clint Barton attempted to approach the event but was halted by Missy. Later, Conrad attended the trial by combat between Barton and Grills over the possession of Ronin's Suit, and celebrated Grills' victory.[2]

"Officer, basically all we need is some casual, run-of-the-mill evidence tampering. Hawkeye's trick arrows are in an NYPD facility near the Manhattan Bridge."
"I can probably help you out, if you make it worth my while."
Kate Bishop and Wendy Conrad[src]

Two days later, Conrad and her guild were approached by Kate Bishop, who was sent by Hawkeye to find the roleplayers, knowing that one of them was an NYPD officer who would be able to retrieve his arrows from the police. Bishop greeted the roleplayers, and Conrad introduced herself. Bishop explained the favor she needed, to which Conrad agreed, under the condition she would receive something in return.

Conrad completed the task and went to deliver the arrows to Hawkeye. She arrived as Hawkeye was about to leave. She had the arrows in her bag, which Hawkeye tried to take, but Conrad did not want to give up the bag as it was a gift from her wife. She hesitantly gave up the bag after Hawkeye and Bishop promised they would return it to her.[1]

Conrad once again helped Clint Barton and Kate Bishop with finding and protecting Eleanor Bishop at the Bishop Christmas Party, alongside Grills, Missy, and Orville. They posed as caterers, resulting in Conrad having to take a berating from Gary, the catering captain. Conrad and the others maintained a lookout for Eleanor Bishop and any other potential threats while maintaining their cover.

As Conrad went to report an all-clear to Barton, the party was interrupted by a sudden gunshot from Kazi Kazimierczak, who was positioned in a building across the street with a sniper rifle. As the partygoers began to panic, Conrad tried to keep everyone calm as they evacuated the building. At the command of Grills, Conrad and Missy turned off the lights to hinder the sniper's sight. Conrad and Missy ushered civilians into the elevator and eventually made their way to the bottom of the building themselves.

Conrad, Missy, and Grills met up with Kate Bishop outside, who tasked them with clearing civilians from the area. Conrad inquired about Jack Duquesne, who was sword fighting Tracksuit Mafia members, to which Bishop replied that he should probably be evacuated as well despite fighting for their side. The trio tried evacuating the civilians in an orderly manner, but were ignored as the civilians ran around in every direction.

The group returned inside the building, regrouped with Orville, and changed into their LARPing attire before returning outside to continue evacuating the civilians, this time with more success.

After the fighting stopped, Conrad talked to Duquesne as her guildmates talked to the NYPD. Having taken note of Duquesne's talent with a sword, Conrad began to invite Duquesne to her guild, but Duquesne interrupted when he was distracted by the blood he noticed on his tie.[3]

Personality[]

Wendy Conrad enjoys LARPing and allows herself to get into character. She was very invested in the fight between Grills and Clint Barton, showing a lot of excitement at Grills' victory. Conrad seems to prefer her roleplaying life over her life as a police officer, to the point where she would jeopardize her career, showing no hesitation to commit evidence tampering to help Hawkeye with his mission.
