Hope van Dyne was born to Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. Her mother operated as a superhero with the ability to shrink and fly, known as the Wasp, and when van Dyne grew up, she took on the mantle as the new Wasp. Wasp joined the Avengers and fought in the Battle of New York against Loki.
