The War Machine Armor: Mark VI was the sixth armor given to James Rhodes, and was notably used during the Time Heist. It was significantly damaged following Thanos' attack on the Avengers Compound.

History[]

Time Heist[]

THPS4

James Rhodes arrives on Morag

The Mark VI suit was created between the years of 2016 and 2023. James Rhodes decided to use the Mark VI suit while operating as an Avenger under the command of Natasha Romanoff from 2018 through 2023.

In 2023, the suit was upgraded to incorporate the technology from the Advanced Tech Suit and was used by Rhodes to time travel across the Multiverse using the Quantum Realm, arriving in an alternate 2014 timeline in order to steal the Orb from the planet Morag. Upon successfully stealing the Power Stone, Rhodes returned to his native timeline and arrived safely inside the Avengers Compound.

With all the Infinity Stones in hand, the Avengers created the Nano Gauntlet, and Hulk voulenteered to snap his fingers, Rhodes equiped his armor to protect himself from the effects of said snap. Afterwards, the Avengers Compound was basted with a barage of missiles from the Sanctuary II, which had traveled through time from the alternate 2014. Rhodes, who was in the suit at the time, was caught in the bombardment, and was pinned underneath the rubble of the compound. Unable to get himself free, Rhodes was forced to evacuate the destroyed suit and abandon it in the remains of the compound.[1]
