Walter Burke is a supervisor of an electrical company. He was an interviewee of The Daily Bugle after watching Spider-Man's encounter with Sandman and Electro.

Witnessing Superpowered Encounter[]
In November 2024, Burke witnessed Spider-Man and Sandman's battle with Electro. He later watched him spending the entire rest of the night repairing the damage to powerlines caused by the fight.[1]
Calling into The Daily Bugle[]
- "Mr. Burke, you're saying you saw Spider-Man, with your own eyes, destroying multiple power lines?"

J. Jonah Jameson of The Daily Bugle set up an on-air call with him about his experience, with Jameson claiming that Burke's eyewitness account provided conclusive evidence that Spider-Man had destroyed the power-lines. During the interview, however, Burke interrupted Jameson's tirade against Spider-Man by explaining his accurate account of events, as well as Sandman's appearance. In response, Jameson immediately cut the conversation short.[1]
