Victor Stein was a recreation of the real Victor Stein in the Healing Algorithm, generated from Janet Stein's wish to get recognition.
Biography[]
Chase's Illusion[]
Victor and the rest of PRIDE attacked the Hostel and defeated the Runaways. They then attempted to kill Gert Yorkes, but were attacked by Chase Stein. Victor and Janet Stein tried to talk Chase down, but he blasted the chandelier, causing it to fall on top of them.[1]
Attentive Husband[]

This version of Victor Stein was generated by the Healing Algorithm by tapping into Janet Stein's frustration of having lived in the shadow of her husband without getting recognition for her scientific skills and being abused by her husband. In the simulation, Victor actually behaved as a very loving and attentive husband towards Janet, praising her as she was featured in magazines and constantly cooking crepes for her.
As Janet slowly began to realize that she was in the Healing Algorithm, Victor did not understand what she was talking about, insisting that she should take something to eat. He was, however, ignored by Janet who attempted to leave the Algorithm, but failed, with Victor insisting for her to eat the crepes he had cooked for her. Later, as the simulation was infiltrated by Alex Wilder, Victor offered him crepes as well.[1]
Although he sometimes glitched because of the Algorithm's systems being strained, Victor kept cooking for Janet as she interacted with Chase Stein, who was trapped in another simulation. However, when Janet figured out a way of making things disappear in the simulation, beginning with Victor's crepes, Victor attempted to appease her by recalling how she had fallen in love with him and the happy life they had before PRIDE. Nevertheless, this angered Janet, who channeled the willpower to make Victor disappear.[2]
