Veb is a member of the Freedom Fighters.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Veb was an inhabitant in the Quantum Realm who was able to connect the other inhabitants linguistically with their bodily juices. When his home was taken by Kang the Conqueror, his species was wiped out to the brink of extinction, leaving Veb as the sole survivor.[1] He joined other displaced inhabitants and became a member of the Freedom Fighters, aiming to defeat the tyrant and retake their homes.[2]
Freedom Fighter[]
Meeting Scott Lang[]
Xolum brought Scott and Cassie Lang to Veb, who forced Cassie to drink his Ooze in order to translate what everyone was saying. Scott was then brought to him. Scott was forced to drink the Ooze as well, from a bowl. Veb then walked up to Scott and asked if he was okay. Scott was simply confused that he could understand everyone. When Scott misheard his question, Veb believed the Ooze did not work, but Scott assured him it did. Veb then wiped away the ooze from both Scott and Cassie's mouths.
He was also infatuated with the fact that the Langs had holes. He asked how many Lang had, which led Quaz to interrupt, saying he had seven. Lang quickly counted in his head before asking who Quaz was. Quaz also told Veb that most of the Freedom Fighters had holes as well, so he was confused as to why Veb was infatuated with them.[2]
Ambush on the Freedom Fighters[]
Veb and Quaz then talked to the Langs, who claimed they had nothing to do with what was happening, nor had any idea what was happening. Even though Jentorra did not believe them, Quaz assured her this was true. Jentorra still did not want them there as she was worried that Kang the Conqueror was after them since they were Humans. Scott asked if their ships were alive, leading Veb to ask if his world's was not alive.
Her presumptions were correct as suddenly, Quantumnauts invaded the base. The Freedom Fighters ran as Jentorra told them to get to the ships. Veb and Quaz quickly ran, only to be stopped by Quantumnauts. The tides turned towards Kang's side as M.O.D.O.K. arrived. Veb and Quaz were taken and put in a prison along with all of the Freedom Fighters.[2]
Uprising in Axia[]
Veb was eventually broken free by Jentorra, who broke out herself with the help of Stature. The Freedom Fighters regrouped on a bridge as Jentorra gave them a war chant. Veb ran ahead of the group, only to be ambushed by Quantumnauts. These guards shot him to the point where he had many holes. As everyone thought Veb would collapsed, he instead seemed normal until he bursted out in happiness, saying he had holes.
Veb proceeded to manipulate the holes into one big one and then enlarged himself so he could suck up the Quantumnauts like a vacuum.They group then fought the guards as Kang the Conqueror fought Ant-Man and the Wasp. In the end, Kang was killed by Ant-Man and the fighters rejoiced. Veb celebrated as the group took back the Quantum Realm and Axia.[2]
Personality[]
Despite his tragic past - being displaced by Kang the Conqueror and having his species wiped out, Veb still retained a gleeful and joyous personality, reflecting that he is optimistic in nature. He was excited to meet people that come from the physical world, including Scott Lang and Cassie Lang, and was obsessed with learning more about holes, to the extent that it even annoys his Freedom Fighter friends such as Quaz.
Nevertheless, Veb has a strong sense of camaraderie and friendship with his fellow friends and comrades as they had been through a lot together. Veb fought valiantly against Kang's forces and eventually achieved his goals to retake his home.

- Primordial Ooze Manipulation: Veb has the ability to produce ooze which, once drank, can allow outsiders to understand languages spoken in the Quantum Realm.
- Size Manipulation: Veb can manipulate the size of his body, which he used to fight the Quantumnauts.
