Utkin Prison is a prison where Vladimir and Anatoly Ranskahov were held prisoners.
History
Imprisonment of the Ranskahov Brothers
Brothers Vladimir and Anatoly Ranskahov were arrested and imprisoned at Utkin Prison to serve their sentence, due to their illegal activities in Moscow. They were heaped in a cell with inhumane conditions along with other inmates named Alexei and Oleg during three years.[1]
Breakout at Utkin Prison
Anatoly Ranskahov was tortured along with Oleg, however, only Anatoly survived, and taken back to his cell, where his brother, Vladimir Ranskahov was also kept with the rotting corpse of one of their former cellmates, Alexei.
Vladimir asked where Oleg was, and when he answered that he had died, Vladimir told him they only needed each other. However, Anatoly was not sure about his own survival. Vladimir promised they would leave together that night, and showed him a weapon made from one of Alexei's ribs.
