  • After getting surgery, ex-Special Agent Poindexter kills all the doctors and goes on a killing spree in New York City as Bullseye, while wearing a Daredevil suit that has a different color scheme. Poindexter targets certain people for revenge: the FBI for agreeing to help Fisk, Hattley's family to get back at her, Nadeem's family because he blames Special Agent Nadeem, and Vanessa Fisk, Mrs. Kingpin.
  • Matt gets an offer from Mayor Waters to work alongside him as his deputy mayor, which Matt contemplates whether to accept or not.
  • Matt ends up saving Vanessa from Bullseye, despite the fact that he hates her for ordering Special Agent Nadeem to be killed. Matt also has an ongoing relationship with Fisk, visiting him multiple times in prison- where they develop a mutual respect. Fisk trusts Matt with Vanessa's life. Speaking of Fisk, he is still remaining in prison, however, he is still ratting out criminal organizations to the FBI and NYPD as part of his deal with Matt, thus making New York safer.
  • L. Thompson Lincoln aka Tombstone, will be main villain. After Fisk's arrest and Vanessa being sent to witness protection by the United States Government, Tombstone begins to take little remains of Fisk's power in the criminal underworld. He is the Big Man of crime. Matt doesn't learn Tombstone is the Big Man until latter which makes him determined to bring Fisk down.
  • The Big Man begins to see Daredevil as being bad for business which is why he tasks the Enforcers (Ox, Fancy Dan, and Montana) to bring him down as well as his lieutenant Hammerhead. The Big Man employs Poindexter only for Hammerhead to distrust Poindexter due to believing him to be a complete psychopath. When the Big Man begins to see Hammerhead is right, he tries to kill Poindexter only for Poindexter to slaughter Hammerhead, the Enforcers, and the rest of Tombstone's thugs.
  • Peter Parker/Spiderman appears as a special guest star. Peter knows Tombstone is the Big-Man and tries to prove it by breaking into his penthouse. Peter finds some CDs with the evidence. Unfortunately, he trips the alarm and is overpowered by Tombstone and subdued by Hammerhead. Spider-Man is then unmasked by Tombstone who, realising Spider-Man is just a boy, throws Peter's unconscious form through a window but opts to keep Spider-Man's mask. Peter survives the fall because of Daredevil. After Tombstone kills his associate Blackie Gaxton for selling him out to Tombstone, he crushes his skull and puts the Spiderman mask on him. The body is discovered and the news report that Spider-Man is a murder suspect. However, Matt gets D.A. Blake Tower and Sergeant Mahoney to calloff the manhunt against Spiderman.
  • Rather than Robbie Robertson having a connection to Tombstone, it's Sergeant Mahoney. Born as Lonnie Thompson Lincoln in Harlem, in New York City, he started out as troubled youth who was bullied by his peers because he was Harlem's only African-American albino. Taller and stronger than the other children, he became a school bully, extorting protection money from his classmates, especially Mahoney. Lonnie allowed his personal demons to direct the course of his life and he turned to a life of serious crime. [1]As a hitman and enforcer, he used his albinism to his advantage. He filed his teeth and nails to points, giving him the appearance of a vampire. This frequently caught his opponents off-guard, making it easier to kill them. He also lifted weights and engaged in many street fights to hone his fighting skills. As an adult, he stood over six feet, seven inches tall.[volume & issue needed] One night, Mahoney, who was a low level beat cop before being promoted to Sergeant, went to meet a source only to see the source being killed by Lincoln. He threatened to kill Mahoney's mother if the NYPD were to find out. Mahoney kept this secret for years while Lincoln took over Fisk's empire. Eventually, Mahoney holds a press conference to confess everything as well as how Tombstone framed Spiderman for killing Blackie Gaxton after Tombstone tries to damage his spine. Tower also ordered Mahoney to be incarcerated for suppression of evidence. On learning this, Tombstone obtained a transfer to Strker's Island where Mahoney was incarcerated. In prison, Tombstone orchestrates a riot only for Daredevil, Kingpin, and Mahoney to stop it.
  • Vanessa is pregnant with her and Kingpin's son named Richard. Tower allows Kingpin to visit his family. Unfortunately, Vanessa is eventually asassinated by the vengeful Poindexter, leaving RIchard to be an orphan. Because of his mother dead and father in prison, Foggy's girlfriend Marci Stahl adopts Richard.
  • Although Kingpin shows understanding towards Matt knowing he did his best to save Vanessa and is thankful for Marci  and Foggy taking care of his son , Kingpin still breaks out of prison in anger to kill Poindexter. Fisk and Bullseye going at it in the streets of New York, with Daredevil and Punisher trying to stop them and save the civilians caught in the crossfire. Dex will kill Fisk, and Matt will have to kill a completely bonkers Bullseye who just randomly murders people all around.
  • Season finale will have Fisk and Bullseye going at it in the streets of New York, with Daredevil, Spiderman, Mahoney (who escapes from prison with Fisk), and Punisher trying to stop them and save the civilians caught in the crossfire. Dex kills Fisk and Mahoney kills Dex. In the aftermath, Mayor Waters decides to grant Mahoney a pardon despite Tower's objections and Murdock politely declines Waters' offer since he wants to continue protecting Hells Kitchen.
