The United States Department of Defense is an executive branch department of the United States of America.

History[]

Area 51[]

While working for the United States Department of Defense, Gerald Sharpe was sent to check on Project Helius at Area 51. Phil Coulson and Daisy Johnson captured Sharpe so Coulson could impersonate him and infiltrate Area 51. Sharpe was taken back to Zephyr One where he was interrogated, however, Sharpe did not break.[1]
