Ten Rings Attack[]

The Air Force convoy is under Ten Rings' attack
Erik Stevens was assigned on a deep cover operation inside the Ten Rings, during which he discovered that the organization was hired by Obadiah Stane to assassinate Tony Stark. While Stark was on a Jericho missile presentation in Afghanistan, the United States Air Force assembled a convoy to escort him out of the country, however, they were ambushed by the Ten Rings. Multiple airmen were killed by the Ten Rings operatives and attempted to get to Stark, however, he was rescued by Stevens who took out the hostiles and escorted Stark back to the United States of America.[1]
American-Wakandan War[]

In the wake of the straining political relationships between the United States of America and Wakanda, the military discovered Tony Stark being seemingly assassinated by the Wakandans. Considering it a declaration of war against America, Thaddeus Ross authorized the Patriot Act and seized control of Stark Industries assets. Using the vibranium purchased from Ulysses Klaue, Ross mass-produced the Stark Liberator Drones and deployed them to Wakanda.
Ross and the military were controlling the Drones at the Drone Command Center in Nevada, while Stevens escorted them to the Wakandan border. However, once the Drones reached the country, Stevens defected and took the side of Wakandans, helping them to destroy the entire Drone battalion. Ross ordered to mobilize the entire US military and deploy the Jericho missiles to take Wakanda down once and for all.[1]
