Mila Masaryk is a criminal who, upon escaping from the Police Department of New York City after a heist while her gang teammates were arrested, became acquainted with doctor Otto Octavius, who equipped her with a weaponized predictive combat helmet. Freeing her friends from prison and adopting the moniker Unicorn, Masaryk became obsessed with her power and attempted to kill Spider-Man, only to be defeated by her former teammate Mikhail Sytsevich, who she used against Spider-Man, and arrested.

• In the comics, Milos Masaryk is a KGB agent who was assigned to find Crimson Dynamo, and is the first user to don the Unicorn persona. His abilities include hand-to-hand KGB combat as well as enhanced strength and endurance due to mutagenic radiation treatments at the cost of his physical and mental health.
