While onboard of Churchill, Ulysses Klaue was dancing to some music and talking to potential buyers, as he heard a suspicious noise from behind. Klaue instinctively pulled his gun but Pietro Maximoff used his enhanced speed to replace his gun with a chicken, he quickly realized that he was dealing with Baron Strucker's test subject, being approached by Wanda Maximoff and Ultron. He recognized Ultron as being the one in charge who was interested in making a deal, so he offered the three of them some candy before guiding them to his vibranium storage.
Klaue then used a claw machine to extract a vibranium sample from his supplies to demonstrate his merchandise to Ultron, claiming that it was worth billions. Ultron responded by having his Ultron Sentries dumping cases of cash right on Klaue but then he heard Ultron quoting Tony Stark, assuming that he was one of Stark's creations. Ultron was greatly displeased by Klaue's comparison, right before the Avengers broke in and confronted Ultron. In the subsequent battle between the Avengers and Ultron's forces, Klaue gave his bodyguard an order to open fire at everyone present.[2]
