  • In the comics, John Walker was a former United States Army soldier who was originally known as the Super-Patriot, a villain who was the dark reflection of Captain America and his views on patriotism. Walker later took over the mantle of Captain America after Steve Rogers abandoned the role. After Rogers reassumed the role of Captain America, Walker became a government operative codenamed U.S. Agent.
