The Tracksuit Mafia Campaign was a series of attacks by the Tracksuit Mafia against Ronin. Originally led by Maya Lopez with the goal of killing Ronin, Kingpin took charge and led the Tracksuits against Hawkeye and Kate Bishop. The Mafia was defeated by them and Maya, who defeated Kazi Kazimierczak and shot Kingpin, ending the conflict.

Background

Ronin's Campaign

During his ongoing campaign of violence, Ronin had clashed with the Tracksuit Mafia many times, causing a lot of strain to their power over New York City. Eventually, Barton was tipped off about their base of operations from an informant working under Wilson Fisk who wanted William Lopez, the commander of the Mafia, dead. Barton found one of the Mafia's business fronts, Fat Man Auto Repair. As Ronin fought through the Mafia members, he came across Lopez and attacked him viscously , mortally wounding him, simultaneously, Maya Lopez came to the building after she had finished a sparring match, and saw Ronin escaping through the window. She ran to her father to see him in his final moments, and he soon succumbs to his wounds. As a result of Ronin killing her father and the rest of the Tracksuit Mafia, they would continue to have an ongoing feud with Barton. The event also led Maya to have a burning hatred towards Ronin, who waited till his return so that she could finally avenge her father.[2]
