The Tracking Scent is an odorless scent created by Agent Jemma Simmons designed as an alternative method to electronic tracking.

When the Centipede Project kidnapped Michael Peterson's son and made an arrangement to deliver Ace in exchange for his father, Coulson's Team applied Michael with the Tracking Scent in hopes of following him and detecting him with a specialized tracking device developed by Agent Leo Fitz, which is able to detect the scent within a range of 50 kilometers.[1]
