Agent Tommy Chang is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and a member of the Deke Squad.
Biography[]
Deke Squad[]
Tommy and his brother, Ronnie Chang were recruited to become pianists by Deke Shaw for his band called the Deke Squad. Soon after joining, they learned that it was actually a cover for a secret agency organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D.. The group went to many places to perform, but mostly stayed in River's End. When they were not playing, they usually trained as agents with Shaw demanding excellance for his friend, Alphonso Mackenzie, who he spoke highly of.
When Mackenzie finally came around, the group gladly showed him their training. When Shaw called for the Chang Gang to go, Tommy and Ronnie ran out. However, Ronnie was immediately struck by a paintball, leaving Tommy to stop dead in his tracks and remark at how Ronnie was an idiot. Later, the group overheard Mackenzie berating Shaw for being a fraud and thinking this would work. The argument soon turned on the team with them getting ridiculed by Mackenzie as well. Shaw stuck up for his team.
In the main room, the Changs tried to cheer Shaw up, saying they did not need Mackenzie anyways. Shaw admitted that they did and he was a fraud. Suddenly, Cricket's girlfriend Tawni walked in with blood all over herself, claiming that a killer robot murdered Cricket. Olga Pachinko tried to take on the robot, only to fail. Mackenzie decided to help, as long as the team still wanted him. They then went on the attack. However, the Changs saw the lasers that the robots could shoot. Tommy said that he had always been a coward and ran away in fear. Later, the Changs gained enough courage to return. Shaw gladly accepted them. They then worked at the monitor when the rest of Mackenzie's S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived.[1]
Abilities[]
- Marksman: Chang handles a gun to good effect as he used it to shoot at a Sibyl-Bot. He also used a paintball gun in a demonstration for Alphonso Mackenzie, albeit to lesser extent.
- Spy: Deke Shaw is very fond of Chang and his brother for being masters of disguise.
- Expert Performer: Chang was a member of the Deke Squad, which came out with many hit songs and performed in many places. However, Deke Squad was just a front for S.H.I.E.L.D.

- Beretta 92FS Inox: Both Tommy and Ronnie Chang used this gun to shoot at one of the Sibyl-Bots to make it move back towards a trap set by Olga Pachinko.
Facilities[]
- Lighthouse: Chang operated out of the Lighthouse with the rest of Deke Squad and trained to join S.H.I.E.L.D. while there. He demonstrated his training in the Lighthouse for Alphonso Mackenzie and was present when Sibyl led an attack on the Lighthouse. Chang and the rest of Deke Squat defended the LIghthouse from Sibyl and celebrated their victory. They continued to work and saw the arrival of the S.H.I.E.L.D. from Mackenzie's universe.
