Tomas is a member of the Tracksuit Mafia.
Biography[]
Hunt for Ronin[]
Robbery of the Black Market Auction[]
In December 2024, the Tracksuit Mafia staged a heist of a black market auction being held in the cellar below a charity gala, in search of a watch that had been found in the ruins of the Avengers Compound, but also stealing other goods during the process. While the rest of the crew went inside the cellar to rob the auction, Tomas waited outside, listening to music on his headphones and loading the stolen goods his comrades brought out into their truck.
While loading the bags, Tomas found the watch the Mafia was looking for and picked it up to examine it. Suddenly, a dog ran up to Tomas and began attacking him. As the dog bit at Tomas' ankle, he tried to kick him away, until Kate Bishop also appeared and kicked Tomas in the face so he would stop kicking the dog. Bishop and the dog both ran away, and Tomas and the rest of the Tracksuits temporarily retreated due to the approaching police cars.[1]
Ambush on Ronin[]
- "Sorry!"
- ―Tomas to Ivan Banionis[src]
Tomas and the Tracksuits managed to find Kate Bishop and surrounded her. Tomas, Ivan Banionis, and Enrique engaged in a fight with Bishop, who managed to knock each of them down long enough for her to flee into the nearest unlocked car. She locked herself in the vehicle while the Tracksuits attempted to break in.
As they were about to get Bishop, Clint Barton suddenly appeared and began fighting off the Tracksuits. They were no match for Barton's agility and fighting prowess, as he managed to dodge one of Tomas' punches so it would knock out Banionis. After Barton incapacitated the Tracksuits, he took Bishop from the vehicle and ran off.[1]
Attack on Kate Bishop's Apartment[]
- "Come on! That's all you've got? Come on. Throw another one."
- ―Tomas to Kate Bishop and Clint Barton[src]
The Tracksuits tracked down Kate Bishop to her apartment. The Tracksuits began throwing Molotov cocktails into the apartment, beginning a fire inside Bishop's kitchen. Tomas tried to throw a third bottle into the apartment, but it was caught by Clint Barton who threw it back at Tomas' feet, setting his legs on fire.
The Tracksuits put out the fire, while a fire extinguisher flew out of the apartment window towards the Mafia. Tomas taunted the archers, telling them to throw another fire extinguisher at them. The workers at Herman's Hearty Slice, located below Bishop's apartment, came outside to yell at the Tracksuits about the fire. During the commotion, Bishop and Barton managed to escape from the apartment.[2]
Capture of Clint Barton[]
- "Look at me, okay? Because I'm interrogating you right now."
"Bro."
"We are now interrogating you, so look at us, okay?" - ―Tomas and Ivan Banionis to Clint Barton[src]
The next night, Tomas and the Tracksuits found Clint Barton and kidnapped him, unaware of the fact that Barton was trying to get captured on purpose. They took him to their hideout, located in an abandoned toy store. Barton made a joke about their hideout, which offended Tomas because of the amount of time it took him to find a good hideout.
Tomas and Ivan Banionis questioned Barton about Kate Bishop, but Barton only requested that he speak to their boss, angering Tomas. Barton revealed that he had freed himself of his restraints, prompting Tomas and his comrades to all pull their guns on him. While Barton continued to deny that he knew Bishop, she suddenly dropped through the skylight onto the floor in front of Barton. Tomas then restrained Barton and Bishop to coin-operated kiddie rides while Banionis went to retrieve their leader.[2]
While the other Tracksuits entertained themselves by forcing the archers to ride the kiddie rides, Tomas was speaking on the phone to his girlfriend. The conversation turned into a heated argument as Tomas became angry, yelling and kicking a nearby chair. His outburst caught the attention of Banionis and Enrique who told him to calm down. Bishop asked him if he was alright, so Tomas checked to make sure the other Tracksuits were no longer watching and then proceeded to confide in Bishop, telling her that he bought his girlfriend Imagine Dragons tickets but she wanted to take her sister instead of him, which upset him because he really only bought the tickets because he wanted to go. Bishop advised Tomas that both him and his girlfriend owe each other apologies, and Tomas ran off to go find pen to write down her advice.[3]
Escape of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop[]
- "Tomas, go with Maya."
- ―Kazi Kazimierczak to Tomas[src]
Clint Barton and Kate Bishop managed to fight off the Tracksuits and escape the toy store. Tomas rejoined the crew as they chased the archers out of the building. The Tracksuits split up into four vehicles to pursue Barton and Bishop, with Tomas riding passenger in a Dodge Challenger to Maya Lopez.
During the pursuit, Bishop blew up one of the Trust a Bro Moving Company vans that the other Tracksuits were driving, and Tomas witnessed the damage in shock as they drove past. They caught up to Barton and Bishop, ramming into their vehicle. Bishop shot a plunger arrow at the Challenger's windshield, doing nothing. Tomas readied his gun to shoot at the archers, but Barton made a sudden turn to temporarily lose their pursuers.
Tomas and Lopez caught up to Barton and Bishop on the Manhattan Bridge, pulling up to drive side-by-side with them. Tomas pulled his gun out once again, but his arm was blocked by Barton. He only managed to fire a shot into Barton's windshield. Barton managed to push Tomas back into his car with a punch to the face, while Bishop fired a smokescreen arrow into the Challenger, blinding Lopez and Tomas, causing them to crash the vehicle.
Tomas and Lopez proceeded on foot towards Bishop and Barton, now accompanied by the passengers of the two other remaining vehicles. They began shooting at Barton, until Bishop threatened to shoot a dangerous trick arrow at them. The Tracksuits stopped moving forward and shooting, allowing Barton to run away, but Bishop shot the arrow at Ivan Banionis anyway. Tomas started screaming in fear, until realizing the arrow was simply a USB arrow that bounced right off of Banionis' chest. The archers then managed to escape by using a zip line arrow to jump onto the train below the bridge, causing the Tracksuits to give up and return to their hideout.
Back at their hideout, Tomas and the rest of the Tracksuits began to pack their belongings from the toy store, as the group decided they needed to abandon the hideout now that its existence was known to Barton and Bishop.[3]
Ambush at Fat Man Used Cars[]
- ""Maya, meet me tonight where you first met the Ronin. Alone.""
"But we are not Maya." - ―Ivan Banionis and Tomas[src]
A couple days later, Tomas was riding with Ivan Banionis on the way back to their new hideout, Fat Man Used Cars. Tomas claimed that they look like The Royal Tenenbaums, and also asked Banionis why people did not use brass knuckles anymore. As they pulled into the parking lot of their hideout, an arrow penetrated the windshield of their truck, causing Tomas to scream in terror as it headed straight for his head. However, the arrow stopped in the windshield, revealing it contained a note. Banionis read the note for him and Tomas, a message for Maya Lopez from the Ronin asking for her to meet him.
Against Ronin's demands, Tomas and multiple other Tracksuits stood by as Lopez waited for Ronin at Fat Man Used Cars. Before engaging Lopez, Ronin swiftly knocked out all of the Tracksuits on guard, pulling Tomas to the ground and dragging him under a car to knock him out.[4]
Battle at Rockefeller Center[]
- "I know it's probably not the best moment right now, but I want to thank you, you know. For your advice, what you said, how I should speak to my girlfriend."
"Did it work?"
"It worked, bro." - ―Tomas and Kate Bishop[src]
Tomas took Kate Bishop's relationship advice to reconcile with his girlfriend, compromising on going to a Maroon 5 concert instead of Imagine Dragons.
On Christmas Eve, Tomas took part in the battle at the Rockefeller Center with the rest of the Tracksuit Mafia. He led a part of the team assigned to watching the exits of the center. When he arrived, he came across Bishop. As he assaulted her and she grabbed his gun to disarm him, he stopped to thank Bishop for the advice she had given him a few nights earlier. He explained the outcome of the advice, but apologized as he had to attack her anyway despite her help, prompting Bishop to take him out with a kick to the gut.[5]
