Biography[]

Tom was assigned a Supervising Officer by S.H.I.E.L.D. with whom he was not happy. His S.O. said that Tom's face made him angry. On his second day of training, Tom stood up to his S.O., saying that he planned on doing things his own way. His S.O. planned on making an example of Tom. Tom made it to the end of training, and was assigned to a desk job, where S.H.I.E.L.D. believed his skills would be best utilized.

Enoch listens to Tom's story — Tom tells his story to Enoch

Tom visited The Krazy Kanoe and told his story to the bartender, Enoch, while complaining that recruits do not understand what having a bad Supervising Officer is like. Enoch listened to Tom's life story, and Tom declared Enoch to be his best friend, only to have Enoch turn him down.^[1]
