Toldja is the seventh episode of the sixth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Synopsis[]
After finding themselves in yet another gambling dilemma, a mysterious stranger offers Enoch and FitzSimmons a ride home where, it turns out, two Shrikes aren't better than one.
Plot[]
On Kitson, a mysterious woman talks to a man at the bar. Suddenly, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons and Enoch accidentally return to the casino using the Inter-Planetary Conveyance Disc. When going to jump to another location, they find the disc has been taken and used by someone else, leaving them stranded. They wait for the exit to clear, then make their move. They are stopped by a guard who recognizes the trio and locks them up.
At the Lighthouse, Sarge and Snowflake are taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody by Melinda May. Seeing Sarge, Daisy Johnson cannot handle the image of Phil Coulson and leaves. Sarge is then taken to the holding chamber. Jaco lays on his bed and starts coughing. Yo-Yo Rodriguez comes in and tries to get him to talk. Jaco tells her she needs to let Sarge out or else the planet will be destroyed. Meanwhile, Alphonso Mackenzie interrogates Sarge. Sarge tells him, he will be in charge by the end of the day.
Johnson checks out the Zephyr One while Deke Shaw goes to talk to her. Shaw tries to impress her with his Air Jordan's despite not knowing who Michael Jordan is. He also brags about how rich he is so he could win Johnson over. Johnson lets him know that they find Fitz to which a confused Shaw asks what she means. Shaw angrily barges in on Mack and May's conversation asking them why they didn't tell him that Leo Fitz had died. Mackenzie tells him it's the call they had to make. He tells Shaw they will do anything to bring his grandparents home.
In Mister Kitson's room, Fitz-Simmons try to offer work to Mister Kitson in exchange for their lives. Kitson doesn't take it and sentences them to a beheading. Of course, at a casino, it has to be a game. He sets up Fitz, Simmons, and a drunk man so that they have to hold the weight of the guillotine. If they can't hold the weight, then they get decapitated. Mister Kitson is approached from behind and threatened by the mysterious woman, who tells him she'll buy Fitz-Simmons off of him. He then rigs the game so that the drunk man dies. The mysterious woman introduces herself as Izel and tells Fitz-Simmons that she needs artifacts on Earth that belong to her. She wants to take them to Earth with her which they obviously agree to.
At the Lighthouse, Mackenzie shares a conversation with Johnson to talk about Sarge. Meanwhile, Trevor Khan goes to check on Jaco and finds that his coughing is him getting ready to breathe fire. Jaco tries to burn Khan alive but is stopped by Johnson who quakes the door onto him. Rodriguez and Agent Diaz go aboard the Zephyr to the care of two Shrike victims. Mackenzie boasts to Sarge about how he has him locked up, Sarge says that he won't be for long.
Meanwhile, the Shrike victims are held in the containment pod, but start screaming and violently shaking. May, who is driving the Zephyr, hypothesizes that it is due to their close proximity. Mack is forced to have Sarge help. He tells Mack that they have to kill them. The team uses I.C.E.R.'s which don't work. The shrike emit the crystal structures and starts ripping apart the module. May asks if they should drop them. Sarge says that will give them more people on the ground to consume. Mack asks what they do and Sarge replies saying it is time to make his list of demands. The structure rips out the containment and grows closer to Rodriguez. Sarge tells them to freeze it, May brings the Zephyr up to a higher altitude and they open the hanger doors. This freezes the crystals and save Rodriguez as well and Diaz. Sarge claims that the Shrike's maker is coming, Mack lets him take control of the mission to which Sarge replies, "Toldja."
Fitz-Simmons take back the Lazy Comet from Toad and Boyle. Enoch leaves stating his mission has been concluded now that they are on their way home. Now he has to give his people a new home. Fitz hugs Enoch and he gives Fitz a communication device. Enoch tells Fitz he won't miss him, only to say he's bluffing.
