Time Slipping is a phenomena where an individual is being pulled through different points in time and space.
History[]
Affecting Loki[]
Pulled Through Time[]
- "Okay, and Sylvie kicking you through the Timedoor into the past, that somehow started all this?"
"All I know is I was in the past. It was He Who Remains' TemPad, so maybe that's how it was possible." - ―Mobius M. Mobius and Loki[src]
After Sylvie Laufeydottir killed He Who Remains at the Citadel at the End of Time, Loki's place in the flow of time became unstable leading him to start Time Slipping.[1] When he returned to the TVA after being at the Citadel at the End of Time, Loki began Time Slipping and went to a TVA of the past, when he wasn't yet known to be a Variant. He was then chased by multiple TVA agents, and Time Slipped again numerous times. When he tried to explain what was happening to him and how was in the past, people would not believe him because, according to Mobius M. Mobius, 'there is no past TVA'.[2]
Cured[]
When Loki and Mobius M. Mobius went to see Ouroboros for help with the situation, Loki Time Slipped again to a past TVA and was still in front of Ouroboros, who was having trouble reconciling that time slipping was possible in the TVA. When asked what would one need to remedy Time Slipping, Ouroboros said that a Temporal Aura Extractor would be required, and built one. Ouroboros told each of them in their respective time periods that Mobius would have to go to the Temporal Loom so that the Extractor could get Loki out of the time stream, and that Loki would have to prune himself to pulled from time. After doing so, Loki seemingly got rid of his Time Slipping.[2]
Reinflicted[]
- "You need to learn how to control your time slipping."
"I can't control it. I can't just... make it happen. It's, it's random."
"But it isn't random because you keep ending up around exactly the people you're looking for, and it's evolving because you're not just slipping in time, you're also moving around in space." - ―A.D. Doug and Loki[src]

After the Temporal Loom was destroyed, Loki began to time slip again, into each of these timelines. In A.D. Doug's timeline, he was told by Doug that he needed to master his Time Slipping. After failing multiple times, he abandoned the idea.[3]
Mastering the Ability[]
When the timeline began to disappear along with everyone in it, including Doug, Frank Morris, Verity Willis, Don and Sylvie Laufeydottir, Loki was so desperate that he went back in time to just before Sylvie disappeared. He realized that he could control his Time Slipping ability by focusing on who mattered to him.[3]
