The Trust Capacitator was Noah Burstein's attempt at recreating the Electro-Biochemical System.
History[]
Leaving Seagate Penitentiary following a failed experiment, Noah Burstein was able to get access to Reva Connors old files. With that, he was able to make a make-shift Electro-Biochemical System. When Luke Cage came to him for help, Burstein put his machine to use. In order to get a bullet out of Cage's hardened skin, Burstein and Claire Temple attempted to dip Cage in a vat of boiled water to soften the skin enough to extract the bullet. However, this procedure was so excruciating that Cage lost his pulse.[1]
The doctors were able to get Cage back and finished the experiment, saving Cage. Afterwards, Cage talked with Temple and was able to find out the truth about Burstein's experiments. With the revalation that Connors was also involved, an angry Cage ended up destroying the whole lab, telling Burstein to not put anybody like Cage through the experiments.[2]
