  • Hi. Nick Fury mentions Belgrade in Captain Marvel.

    • I know. He mentioned Belgrade, not Yugoslavia. Even though Belgrade is in Yugoslavia, the latter was not mentioned itself.

    • Yes, but it's still indirectly mentioned , right? Can we use 'indirectly mentioned' in parentheses?

    • Personally, I wouldn't call it an indirect mention. Belgrade itself was mentioned, and thus on its page it has a mention from the Captain Marvel film. Yugoslavia itself was not.

    • OK but then what do you think about this page? [1]

Personally, I'm of the opinion that the page doesn't need to exist on this wikia as nothing takes place in Bosnia nor is it mentioned. It was created due to John Garrett's backstory in Sarajevo, but it has since been amended to place his history on the Yugoslavia page.

    • Everything that happened in Belgrade happened in Yugoslavia, at least when the country still existed bit. With the enormous amount of things left to do, there are things not worth the time arguing about...

    • I mean it doesn't have 'indirectly mentioned' in the appearances section but the whole article exists because of a mention of Sarajevo.

I had discussed this before with you, whether countries that are not named in the movies while places in the countries are, should have the "mentioned" bit in the infobox, and I believe you said it went by a case-by-case basis. While the events that occurred in Belgrade happened in Yugoslavia and thus are on the Yugoslavia page, I personally didn't think that it counted as the country itself being mentioned.

I am indifferent overall in the matter, though. If it's considered a mention, by all means. By the way, what enomous amount of things are there left to do, other than Luke Cage S2 screenshots? Anything I could possibly help with?

      You can choose

It's certainly much more time-efficient than edit-warring over them. Taking a few minutes to type a few words doesn't take away that much time from doing other edits. I don't understand your anti-discussion attitude recently.

I don't have an "anti-discussion" attitude. Do you really need to waste time discussing things when there are plenty of precedent to know how to deal with it?

Because this particular subject was solved about six years ago with the mention of Zagreb in one episode of the first season of Agents of SHIELD, is there really need to discuss it each time?

    • It's not like I mindlessly jumped into discussion mode or something. I had my edit undone so I took it up with the person who had undone them.

The fact that there is precedence is why I brought up the Bosnia and Herzegovina page.
