I think we can take this as concrete proof of its MCU status. Besides, it is kind of obvious that it takes place in the MCU. For example, Tina Minoru appears in Doctor Strange, a film that takes place in a larger world in the MCU and is appearing in Runaways, which takes place in the smaller world of the MCU. Although despite that fact, she is played by two different actresses in her two appearances in the MCU; one in a film and the other in a televison series.
I mean, most people thought it was MCU. But both this Wiki and the MCU-related pages on Wikipedia needed more than just our collective assumption. Which is perfectly understandable.
It's fairly obvious at this point that if Marvel Television (a live action project) is officially named "Marvel's Whatever" it's a production set in the MCU.
People keep saying this, but I never saw her.
Anyway, this being placed on Hulu, it might have only one season as a miniseries. I mean, milking the whole on the run theme might have worked on Marvel for a time, but I don't think audiences will be as captivated live action.
