Thor Odinson is an Avenger who battled his brother for the Tesseract.

Battling His Brother[]

When Loki attacked Earth with his Chitauri, Thor was forced to fight his brother. Thor ran through the streets of Manhattan and blasted many Chitauri with his lightning. Meanwhile, Iron Man helped him from above. Eventually, Thor met his brother face to face. Although Loki used Gungnir to blast Thor, the latter took care of his brother easily and retrieved the Tesseract.^[2]

Mjølnir: Thor's weapon of choice is his trust Mjølnir, which he used to summon lightning to attack the Chitauri.

Other Equipment[]

Asgardian Armor: To protect himself, Thor wore highly durable armor from Asgard.
Tesseract: In order to stop the Chitauri from coming to Earth, Thor retrieved the Tesseract from Loki.
