Biography[]
The Avengers[]
Battling a Brother[]
- "Banner and I need to stay on the Helicarrier, Stark. We'll send Widow and Thor to assist."
- ―Captain America to Iron Man[src]
Thor was an Asgardian who joined the Avengers to stop his brother from invading Earth. Thor was on the Helicarrier when Steve Rogers sent him and Black Widow to New York City to help Iron Man with battling Loki's mercenaries. On the way, Thor was contacted by Rogers, who told him to stop his own brother.
Thor flew through the city and took on mercenaries on his way there until he realized that Loki did not seem to be attacking the United Nations like they thought. Thor's questions turned to answers as he realized that Loki was actually attacking Stark Tower. On his way there, Thor spotted Loki and attacked, only to end up fighting an illusion. Loki's illusions jumped around him until the actual Loki emerged and attacked Thor with the Tesseract. Using the cube, Loki suspended the unconscious Thor in midair.[2]
Breaking Free[]
- "Natasha, it would seem that a strange portal has torn a hole in the sky. 'This my brother's foul work?"
- ―Thor to Black Widow[src]
Having been held up for a while, Thor mustered enough strength to break free from the force field. He flew through the city to stop his brother, only to see that he was facing a new threat, the Chitauri. As Thor battled the aliens, the Leviathans came in, causing Thor to focus his efforts on them. Although the Leviathan was very strong, Thor eventually defeated it and called Black Widow, who told him to help out Iron Man and Hulk. Thor did so as Loki was thrown into the Wormhole ending his threat.[2]
Personality[]
Thor was very serious and did not have much of a humorous personality. He was more concerned over stopping his brother. However, Thor was receptive enough to listen to orders from allies such as Nick Fury or Captain America.
