Trivia[]
- In the comics, when Mephisto claimed the souls of Tommy and Billy Maximoff, the twin sons of Scarlet Witch and Vision, Tommy Maximoff's soul was reborn as Thomas "Tommy" Shepherd. Shepherd possessed the ability to run at superhuman speeds, an ability which was bestowed onto him by Tommy Maximoff's soul. Shepherd then became a member of the Young Avengers under the name Speed.
Behind the Scenes[]
- In the comics, Tommy Maximoff reincarnated into Tommy Shepherd. However, Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner of Agatha All Along, found the comics history too confusing and decided to simplify the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of events by having Thomas Shepherd die, allowing for Tommy Maximoff's soul to migrate into Shepherd's dead body.[5]
