By 2015, The Incident was one of many bootleg recordings that D.W. Griffith tried to sell on the streets of Harlem. With the price of $10, the content included footage of the Avengers during the Battle of New York.[1] Two years later, Griffith was still selling copies of The Incident at Pop's Barber Shop.[2]
