The Book of the Five is a tome of powerful spells written by some of the most powerful Masters of the Mystic Arts.

History[]

Over time, the most powerful sorcerers put together magic that was to be passed on from generation to generation, writing it in The Book of the Five, which was kept in the library at Kamar-Taj. Among the spells was Baelzar's Bonds of Baelzar. Both Wong and Stephen Strange read from The Book of the Five during their time training at Kamar-Taj.

In 2017, Strange retrieved the book and went to the Bonds of Baelzar's page, showing Wong that it was a possible way to save Earth from the coming Kalkartho. Wong hesitantly agreed to use it, so Wong put the book back in its place in the library.[1]
