- The BB Report was created for the first season of Daredevil: Born Again by Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson during the season's creative overhaul. They tasked independent documentary filmmakers Sean Dunne and Cass Marie Greener with directing and filming the scenes, although Jeffrey Nachmanoff was with them, since the involvement of a Director's Guild of America member was legally required. Dunne and Greener interviewed real New Yorkers, and although there was a script, most of it was unscripted as they simply asked the interviewees questions, such as how they felt about vigilantism or how they would feel if the mayor initiated a city-wide lockdown, in order to get genuine answers.[2]
