General Thaddeus E. Ross is a high-ranking United States Army officer whose objective was to neutralize Hulk.

Battle at Culver University[]

Thaddeus Ross led the United States Army troops to the Culver University in order to find and capture Natasha Romanoff.[2] Romanoff and Bruce Banner were in the middle of a walkway as the soldiers surrounded the university. Romanoff tried to stall them, stating that Banner was under S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. However, Banner was suddenly hit by something similar to a bullet, although Ross did not order to open fire.
Ross confronts Hulk at Culver University
The injury resulted Banner transforming into Hulk and attacking the military, so Ross ordered soldiers to launch a full-on assault to take him down. Hulk was able to withstand soldiers firing at him and destroy their tanks, so Ross even fired at him with his handgun. Betty tried to stop her father from attacking Hulk, however, he did not listen to her, and Black Widow told her that Ross was not the one who attacked first. Suddenly, Hulk's body started to swell and exploded, to Ross' shock.[3]

- Beretta 92SB: As a military officer, Ross is armed with a handgun as his service weapon. He tried to shoot Hulk during the battle at the Culver University but Ross' bullets were not effective against him.
