The Terrigen Chambers were devices used by the Inhumans from Attilan to induce Terrigenesis on their user.
History[]
The Human Prince[]
When Princes Blackagar and Maximus Boltagon entered the chambers, Blackagar discovered the ability to destroy things by speaking. However, Maximus discovered that his genetics made him human, giving him no Inhuman power.[1]
Continued Use[]
The Terrigen Chambers continued to be used. In 2016, Bronaja and Iridia entered the Terrigen Chambers in order to develop their new powers. Iridia gained the ability to fly, while Bronaja gained the ability to regenerate.[2]
Later, Karnak and Auran placed Gorgon's corpse in the Terrigen Chamber, using the research of Evan Declan, as well as Auran's DNA, to resurrect Gorgon. They fled, and Maximus and Declan later arrived in order put Maximus into the Terrigen Chamber for a second Terrigenesis, but got distracted by Gorgon and then by earthquakes in the Attilan. Gorgon later woke up and escaped the chamber, killing Declan.[3] This led to the destruction of both Terrigen Chambers.[4]
