Marc and Steven's Journey[]
Shot, lying dead in the Tomb of Alexander the Great, Marc Spector and Steven Grant were transported to the Duat where they were met by the goddess Taweret. Taweret drove her boat towards the Gates of Osiris hoping that Spector and Grant would get their scales balanced in time. Grant eventually was pulled off the boat by the Duatian zombies, becoming frozen in sand, and allowing the boat to sail through the Gates of Osiris.[1]
Return to the Overworld[]
Attempting to help Marc Spector and Steven Grant get back to the real world from the Duat, Taweret drove her boat into the wave of sand coming towards them, holding off the sand long enough for Spector and Grant to make it through the Gates of Osiris, and back to the real world.[2]
