Other than Cottonmouth calling her once "Black Mariah", where else is she referred to as this?--RenR25 (talk) 18:15, March 8, 2018 (UTC)

It's a question I ask as well, as aside from that one moment, the rest of the season, Mariah has only been known as "Mariah Dillard" and never as "Black Mariah." If and only if she decides to take on a more underground criminal-topsoil politician facade and begins to seek wrongdoings like her cousin under that name, then I would understand why her page is still named Black Mariah over Mariah Dillard. Renamed to Mariah Stokes

I've had this thought from the beginning, and conversations with the previous bureaucrat elsewhere since the environment of that time held arbitrary distinctions on what could be discussed on a Talk page, but I feel like her name should not be Black Mariah. It's a comics codename, we keep it as a redirect, but it's a pejorative in Mariah's eyes. On second thought, given the fact that she explicitly says "Mariah Stokes" in relation to herself, I think "Mariah Stokes Dillard" should be just a redirect. •

Personally I think it should stay as Black Mariah, it's her comic book name which is used during the series.

It's her comic book name, yes, but it's clearly a name the MCU version finds derogatory and doesn't want. Not too dissimilar in the Mandarin situation, which I recall you also being against renaming to Xu Wenwu. If a character (and by extension, the writers/creatives) take steps to distance themselves from what is perceived to be a problematic codename, then we shouldn't just label it as their page name "because comics." •

Voting eligibility requires site editors to have a certain level of productivity in order to participate in votes affecting the wiki and its community. Users who do not meet the eligibility requirements will have any votes they cast stricken from the record by Staff members. Votes by any users whose accounts are younger than three (3) months or have not been on our wiki for more than three (3) months, have fewer than seventy-five (75) valid edits (as defined below, or who are using sockpuppet accounts will not be counted.

In order to be eligible to vote, a user account must be at least three (3) months old and must have made at least seventy-five (75) constructive edits. Edits to userpages, talk pages or sandboxes do not count, nor do automated edits or edits that have been reverted or undone.
A user who is blocked is also not allowed to cast votes for the entire duration of their block.
