This list has this scene as being canon, despite the fact that it is contradicted to varying degrees by both The Avengers and Captain America: The First Avenger. In The Avengers, Banner does reference this scene, but the details don't add up. In fact, they directly contradict what is shown. Banner doesn't shoot himself in the mouth, transform to Hulk, and then spit the bullet out. He never gets a shot off before transforming into Hulk, destroying the gun in his palm. Thus, the reference to the scene in this movie appears to be mostly a production nod, with the original narrative modified. In The First Avenger, Captain America is found inside of the Valkyrie, and this is after the original opening in the timeline. In the original opening, Banner causes an avalanche that carries the body and shield of Rogers down the mountain range. This means that for this scene to be canon, Steve would have had to at some point been ejected from the Valkyrie, carried downhill by the Hulk's avalanche, and then made it inside of the ship again, right where he was when the ship originally crashed. It doesn't line up.

I'm not sure you understand what I'm referring to. that bit actually is relevant to this article, and would affect it. The article refers to this scene as canonical explicitly. Of course I'm not saying the scene should be removed, it's a deleted scene, I'm saying the description should be changed to not needlessly include that bit. This page is pretty lengthy. Perhaps it would be beneficial to split this page? Perhaps one page can list all deleted scenes in the films while another page can list all deleted scenes in the television shows?
